Birth

As your doula I provide support throughout your pregnancy, birth and postnatal period, but do not act as a medical professional. My role is to provide you with evidence based information, practical and emotional support throughout this journey, to help you have the most positive experience you can.

A cochrane review (Bohren et al, 2017) looked into the benfits of support during labour and birth and it found that it can improve several health outcomes for both the birthing individual and their baby.
Statistics showed that you:
- are 25% less likely to have a cesarean section
- are more likely to have shorter labours
- have a 10% reduction in pain relief medication
- have a 31% reduction in the risk of being dissatisfied by your birth experience.

BIRTH DOULA PACKAGE (£999)
Includes:
- A free consultation, giving you & I the chance to get to know one another and gives you the chance to decide whether I am the right doula for you.
- Two 2 hour antenatal sessions which are tailored to your specific needs. This can include antenatal information and knowledge, hypnobirthing techniques, birth planning and more.
- Support via phone, text or email over the duration of your pregnancy.
- Being on call for you from 37 weeks until the birth of your baby.
- Support during your labour and birth at your chosen birth setting.
- 2 postnatal sessions to provide emotional support, discuss baby care, provide feeding support & more.

'BIRTH' ONLY PACKAGE (£599) - Suitable for someone who has decided to have a doula last minute. This includes:
- Free phone call consultation to ensure I am the right doula for you.
- 1 antenatal session
- Support via phone, text or email
- Support during labour and birth
- 2 postnatal visits

VIRTUAL BIRTH DOULA PACKAGE (£500)
This is like the full birth package, however this service will be virtual.
It will include:
- 2x virtual antenatal sessions
- virtual doula contact throughout pregnancy via phone, text and email
- Virtual support during the labour and birth
- 2x virtual postnatal sessions.
